 Organic Agriculture
By saying “organic agriculture” one intends a type of cultivation free from synthetic chemicals products (such as fertilizers or pesticides) used in soil fertilization and against animals and plants pest. In fact the fertilization of the land should take place exclusively through organic and natural minerals, so as to safeguard the environment.
This is a high-extensive agriculture which regenerates the soil through crop rotation.
We can define organic agriculture as a production system that fits into the natural processes in a consistent manner, with respect of all the elements existing in nature (earth, water, plants and animals). Therefore, Bruscia wines from organic agriculture are naturally free of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs).
These products from organic agriculture are synonymous with quality and genuineness being also controlled and certified by the appropriate authorized body from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
The organic certification takes place at all levels of production, following the European regulations and particularly the EEC Regulation No. 2092/91 that defines the criteria for systems and control, production standards, the labelling and the import from countries outside EU |
